Internships at Golden House
These are hands-on internships for individuals who are comfortable working both with staff and independently. You will work directly with Golden House staff members and will be required to attend training & staff meetings.
If interested in an internship with Golden House, you must first fill out a Volunteer Application indicating your desire for an internship, your availability and interests. Please send your Volunteer Application to Amy at amyh@goldenhousegb.org. After a background check, the application will be sent to the appropriate individual to determine their need for an intern.
Victim Advocate Internship

Duties:
- Client intakes
- Restraining/harassment orders
- Working scheduled help-line shifts
- Referrals, advocacy, crisis counseling
- Legal advocacy (Senior placements only)
- Client case management (Senior placements only)
- Public education opportunities (Senior placements only)
- Assisting advocate in planning and co-facilitating support group
Children's Advocate Internship
