Golden House Volunteer Opportunities
The Golden House Volunteer Program offers a variety of volunteer opportunities at different levels of commitment for those interested in helping free families from violence. Volunteers participate in almost all aspects of providing service at Golden House, which is an affiliated member of the Volunteer Center of Brown County.
As a nonprofit organization, we rely heavily on the community's generosity and support. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out our Volunteer Application after viewing the opportunities below. Your application will be processed, and you will be contacted within a two-week period.

Special Events
We also have several volunteer opportunities throughout the year for special events. Please click the link below to see how you can volunteer you or your group for one of these events.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR UPCOMING EVENTS
Required Volunteer Hours
1. If you must volunteer for class or credit, please check with your teacher/professor to see which of the below opportunities qualify as "Service Learning."
2. If you must volunteer for School Community Service, you are required to keep track of your own hours; a Golden House staff member will sign your sheet each time you volunteer.
High School and College Community Service Hours: We require a minimum of 20 hours over a period of one semester or 6 months, to maximize the experience the student will receive after their training. If you want to maximize your hours (if there are many), we ask that you spread out your volunteering, with no more than 5-6 hours per week. We simply don't have enough to keep you busy longer than that!
Bellin College of Nursing and NWTC Nursing Students: We require a minimum of 20 hours over a period of one semester or 6 months; we are only able to accept the first 6 students that apply per semester.
3. At this time, we are not accepting volunteers in need of Court Community Service Hours.
